TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of AMERICAN FAMILY MOVER’s services and website. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
AMERICAN FAMILY MOVER offers local and regional moving services within the United States. Our services include packing, loading, transport, unloading, and unpacking, as agreed upon in your service contract.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS
- Quotes and Estimates: We provide quotes based on information provided. Final charges may vary based on actual move circumstances (e.g., additional services or unforeseen requirements).
- Deposits and Payments: A deposit may be required to secure your booking, with full payment due upon completion of services.
- Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled move are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours may incur a fee.
- Refunds: Refunds for canceled services will be issued according to the original payment method within 3 to 5 business days.
LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS OF SERVICES
- Damage to Property: We take care to protect your belongings. In the event of damage caused by our negligence, we may repair or replace items at our discretion, up to a specified liability limit.
- Insurance: Basic liability coverage is included. Additional insurance coverage can be arranged upon request.
- Exclusions: AMERICAN FAMILY MOVER is not liable for items packed by the customer or for damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, natural disasters, or unforeseeable circumstances.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurate Information: The customer must provide accurate information regarding the move’s scope, item descriptions, and access details.
- Ready Access: Ensure that all items are packed (unless packing service is included), and that movers have access to loading and unloading areas.
- Restricted Items: Hazardous materials and certain valuables are not permitted in our moving vehicles. A list of restricted items will be provided.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- In the event of a dispute, we encourage customers to contact us directly for resolution. If unresolved, disputes may be addressed through mediation or binding arbitration under the laws of the State of Florida or any state where you are located.

- Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary based on user needs.
- Charges: Message and data rates may apply for both incoming and outgoing messages.

If an estimate is provided on behalf of a motor carrier, please be advised of the following:
This estimate is based on the motor carrier’s published tariff, which contains the rates, charges, classifications, rules, and practices used in its transportation services.
Pursuant to 49 U.S. Code § 13702 and regulations enforced by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), motor carriers are required to maintain a current tariff and make it available for public inspection upon reasonable request.
If you wish to review the carrier’s tariff or obtain more detailed information about the services or charges included in this estimate, please contact us or the motor carrier directly.
This notice is provided in compliance with federal transportation laws and is intended to promote transparency and ensure consumer awareness.
